Cattle Embryo Cryopreservation Training for The Repro Group
The Repro Group from Queensland, Australia have been successfully using ART Lab Solutions media and vitrification solutions since 2021. One of their more recent results included a live calf rate of 70% from pregnancy with A grade embryos. These embryos were frozen at day 6 of embryo culture.
Breeds used: Red Brahmans; all Dam: BIZP34, Sire: Y3K Billionaire, no large calves or calving problems. The recipients were crossbred and had a background of carrying embryo calves in previous outcomes.
Customised Embryology Training
Embryology training at ART Lab Solutions is customised to the needs of the individual or team. In July 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming our long-time clients to our training facility in Adelaide, South Australia to experience a customised bovine IVF training program led by Marie Ellul & Dr Jen Kelly.
Over several intensive days, the team gained both theoretical and hands-on experience into the in vitro embryo production (IVEP) process. Using our complete suite of serum-free bovine in vitro embryo media products; including vitrification solutions, warming solutions (Holding Medium + 1M Sucrose), freezing and thawing media for slow freezing, the customised training covered key components including:
- Cumulus oocyte complex grading,
- Vitrification and warming,
- Slow freezing techniques.
