Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Amnah AlFares to ART Lab Solutions for four days of hands-on embryology training. Amnah was able to directly experience what it’s like to be a bovine embryologist.

This included:
– The aspiration of bovine ovaries
– Searching and sorting for cumulus-oocyte-complexes
– Grading of oocytes and embryos
– Semen preparation and in vitro fertilisation
– Denudation and in vitro embryo culture
– Vitrification of bovine embryos

It was wonderful having Amnah spend time with our team, building technical and practical skills and working through the different stages of the embryology process.
