ART Lab Solutions offers three training blocks in Bovine In Vitro Embryo Production:

Basic (4 weeks)

  • Basic understanding of all technical aspects of bovine in vitro production of embryos, from collection and In vitro maturation of oocytes, to IVF and complete culture of embryos
  • Skills in mouth pipetting, hand pipetting, handling of oocytes, sperm, and embryos
  • Embryo media preparation and handling principles
  • Good laboratory practice and aseptic techniques
  • General knowledge of lab management
  • General knowledge of theoretical embryology

Intensive (8 weeks)

  • Good understanding of all technical aspects of bovine in vitro production of embryos, from collection and In vitro maturation of oocytes, to IVF and complete culture of embryos
  • Skills in mouth pipetting, hand pipetting, handling of oocytes, sperm, and embryos
  • Embryo media preparation and handling principles
  • Good laboratory practice and aseptic techniques
  • General knowledge of lab management
  • General knowledge of theoretical embryology
  • Cryopreservation and warming of embryos

Comprehensive (6 months)

  • In-depth training in all technical aspects of bovine in vitro production of embryos, from collection and In vitro maturation of oocytes, to IVF and complete culture of embryos
  • Advanced skills in mouth pipetting, hand pipetting, handling of oocytes, sperm, and embryos
  • Good laboratory practice and aseptic techniques
  • Embryo media preparation and handling principles
  • Cryopreservation and warming of embryos
  • Basics of cattle donor and recipient management
  • Quality control & assurance management in a laboratory – i.e monitoring of incubators, fridge/freezer, warming stages, and other lab equipment associated with bovine IVP embryo production
  • In-depth knowledge of theoretical embryology
